Near your interests. In face of Stintino is situated the islet with the characteristic Aragonese tower "La Pelosa", built in 1578 to defend the coast in front of the beach of the same name.  In the same direction you may see the profile of the majestic rocks of the Asinara: coasts rich of bays that alternate with little still uncontaminated bays. This island has been the scene of many events: it was a health centre, a prison camp and, in the Seventies it was transformed to maximum security prison.

Here you can find different species of protected animals, between which the famous white donkey. Descending on the east coast you can visit Argentiera, an in disuse structure of the old mine and of the village of miners. Returning to the west coast, you will find Porto Torres, a typically marine town, especially appreciated for its beaches and for the presence of fjords and caves. Moving instead to the hinterland you meet the caves of Neptune, where the passing of the centuries has created incomparable beauties.
